“Sourced from the tiny northern appellation of Brézème, this gorgeously sunny sip melds zesty pineapple and fresh apple flavors with delicate swathes of sweet spice and blossom. A blend of 65% Viognier and 35% Marsanne matured partially in oak, it’s luxurious in texture yet sprightly and mineral too. Lovely already it should hold through 2025.”

“The 2018 Domaine Bréseyme Côtes du Rhône Blanc is composed of Grenache Blanc 60%, Marsanne 10%, Viognier 30% and opens to pretty aromatics of sliced pears, jasmine and orange blossoms all bursting from the glass. The palate is beautifully textured with a gorgeous mouthfeel, laced with flavors of orchard fruits, peaches and honeysuckle which linger beautifully through the finish.”

“A domaine recently purchased by Maison & Domaines Les Alexandrins. 70% Viognier, 30% Marsanne. There’s orange blossom and subtle lime. The oak is bold but integrated and lends a little cashew and silkiness to the palate, as well as extending the finish. Not overly rich in fruit, the keen acid line also helps bring balance. Very fresh. Lovers of oaked Condrieu may enjoy this. Drink 2021-2024”

“A rich, spicy and honeyed blend of 65% Viognier and 35% Marsanne, the 2018 Cotes du Rhone Brezeme Blanc Domaine de Breseyme should be consumed over the next year or so. Peppery notes accent apricot, melon and tangerine flavors in this silky-textured, medium to full-bodied effort that highlights the balance between ripeness and acidity that this unheralded appellation can offer.”

“Broad and alluring, with ginger, jasmine and heather notes gilding a core of creamed yellow apple, shortbread and apricot flavors. Drink now.”

About The Winery
Although Bre´ze`me is still relatively unknown, its slopes and its terroir are steeped in history. Vines have been grown on the Bre´ze`me hillsides since the Middle Ages. Classified as a Co^tes du Rho^ne in 1937, Bre´ze`me has, for several years, been taking steps to obtain the status of cru. Domaine de Bréseyme currently cultivates 4 hectares (10 acres) of Bre´ze`me Co^tes du Rho^ne and 4.5 hectares (11 acres) of Collines Rhodaniennes. With a 16-hectare (40-acre) land reserve, the estate will be able to pursue its growth and increase the production of these fine wines. Founded by the Gresse Family in 1999, Domaine de Bréseyme was acquired in 2018 by Maison & Domaines Les Alexandrins, experts in the Northern Rhône, based in Tain l'Hermitage.
