About the Wine
Dauvissat's Petit Chablis comes from higher parcels; this fruit is some of the last to be harvested to allow the fruit to reach full ripeness.
Critic Reviews
93 points, Vinous
“The 2020 Petit Chablis has a light but well-defined bouquet of citrus fruit and light flinty aromas. The balanced palate delivers a lightly spiced opening, moderate weight and good penetration on the finish.”

91 points, Decanter
“From a plot above Les Clos, this is another intriguing Petit Chablis with some spice notes on the nose, then fleshy and ripe on the palate, showing zesty lemon and lime fruit. A forward style that is almost ready now, there is a lot of complexity here with good acidity and mineral notes keeping the palate fresh. Drinking Window 2022 - 2023.”

91 points, Wine Advocate
“Brimming with character and complexity, Dauvissat’s 2020 Petit Chablis transcends its humble appellation. Offering up aromas of crisp green apple, citrus zest, oyster shell and mandarin orange, it’s medium to full-bodied, taut and chiseled, with racy acids and a pungently saline finish.”

89-91 points, Jasper Morris
“The Chablis was picked over various dates, depending on the plot. Pale color, a restricted nose with a slight oiliness, early days yet, after which the 2020 Chablis is perfectly poised on the palate with a striking minerality, much more my style than 2019. Builds beautifully to the back of the palate.”

About The Winery
Domaine Vincent Dauvissat is arguably the finest Domaine in Chablis. Established in the 1930s by Robert Dauvissat, the Domaine has passed down from father to son for three generations. Robert's son René is to thank for establishing the reputation of the Domaine. Vincent began working with his father, René, in the 1970s and today runs the Domaine. A loyal following among France's most esteemed restaurateurs sharply limits the availability of Dauvissat wines for export. Despite limited quantities, the wines have attracted the praise and attention of critics worldwide.
